PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically communicate a traffic to a ring network under such a situation that the distribution of the traffic is different in accordance with a time zone.;SOLUTION: A wavelength switching optimization device configured to, when the distribution of a traffic flowing between the nodes of a ring network varies in accordance with a time zone, optimize the switching of the connection destination wavelength of an add drop multiplexer (ADM) arranged in each node includes: a data acquisition part for acquiring the arrangement information of the ADM; and a wavelength switching optimization part for optimizing the switching of the connection destination wavelength of the ADM to increase the ADM that can be used in any time zone when the time zone changes.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
