PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speed up updating of a display screen upon displaying a measurement value on the display screen of a graphic display module in an analog manner, and reduce image data to be preliminarily recorded.SOLUTION: A measuring instrument display device comprises: a display screen 21 of a graphic display module; and a processing unit 23 that draws a pointer 33 whose position varies with a change in measurement value on the display screen 21. The processing unit 23 is configured to: calculate first coordinates A1 to C1 on the display screen 21 on the basis of a value L1 prior to the change of the measurement value; draw the pointer 33 on the display screen 21 on the basis of the first coordinates A1 to C1; calculate second coordinates A2 to C2 on the display screen 21 on the basis of a value L2 after the measurement value changes; acquire an area on the display screen 21 as a re-drawing area 34 on the basis of the first coordinates A1 to C1 and the second coordinates A2 to C2; and re-draw the re-drawing area 34 on the basis of a re-drawing function for re-drawing only a specified area which is on the display screen 21.
