PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieving device for retrieving a stone (for example, a calculus or calculi) from part of a living body and relocating the retrieved stone to a different location in the living body.SOLUTION: A device 30 for retrieving a calculus in a lumen of a living body comprises: an elongated member including a frame 51 of a suction head 50 disposed on the tip side; a rotatable member 60 positioned inside the elongated member; a shaft 72 connected to the rotatable member; and a shaft cover 70 that has an axis including a tip section having a center axis and a base end section having a center axis and is connected to the elongated member so as to cover the shaft and move in the axis direction together with the elongated member while rotating.
