PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose an abnormality detection device for detecting the abnormality of a U-shaped press molding machine, an abnormality detection device, and a U-shaped press molding method based on the method and the device.;SOLUTION: There are provided an abnormality detection method for a U-shaped press molding machine that judges to be abnormal when a value of any one or more of a stroke difference in a steel plate longitudinal direction measured by a displacement sensor installed in a main cylinder of the U-shaped press molding machine that press-molds a steel plate into a U shape with two brake rolls supported by a punch beam elevated by the main cylinder, a restrike cylinder arranged below the punch beam, and a brake garter coupled with the restrike cylinder by a link arm, an opening difference in a steel plate longitudinal direction measured by an opening sensor installed in the brake garter and stress measured by a stress sensor installed in the link arm reaches a predetermined threshold value or more, an abnormality detection device, and a U-shaped press molding method based on the method and the device.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
