PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method for diagnosing cheaply and conveniently the gas distribution state in a nozzle in a cold spray flame coating method.SOLUTION: A diagnostic method of a cold spray flame coating method in the distribution state of a gas in a nozzle 1 on the basis of a nozzle outer peripheral surface temperature comprises: a temperature distribution measuring step of measuring the flow direction temperature distribution of the outer peripheral surface within the range from a throat 132 of the nozzle 1 to a nozzle exit 12; and a decision step of deciding the circulation state of the gas in the passage 13 of the nozzle 1 on the basis of the temperature distribution measured at the temperature distribution measuring step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
