PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactivation method of activated carbon enabling the activated carbon to be used effectively and repeatedly by reactivating the used active carbon to high activity, and a recovery method of gold.SOLUTION: In a reactivation method of activated carbon, after gold is eluted from activated carbon adsorbing the gold, the used activated carbon after elution of the gold is reactivated to reuse for adsorption of the gold. The used activated carbon is washed with acidic washings, and the washings after washing are adjusted to an acidic region.SELECTED DRAWING: None
