PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal structural vibration control and reinforcement method which improves an earthquake resistance performance without adding a load-bearing wall in a traditional wooden building.;SOLUTION: In the traditional wooden building, a lower beam 4 that is provided in a horizontal direction and an upper beam 5 that is provided in a horizontal direction and in a direction orthogonal to the lower beam 4 are disposed in a parallel cross shape. A damper 10 is fixed to the lower beam 4 and the upper beam 5. The damper 10 includes: a lower fixing part 9b that is fixed to the lower beam 4; an upper fixing part 9a that is fixed to the upper beam 5; a lower plate 17 of which one end is fixed to the lower fixing part 9b; an upper plate 16 of which one end is fixed to the upper fixing part 9a; and an elastic body 18 that is interposed at a point where the lower plate 17 and the upper plate 16 are overlapped.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
