PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support oil refinery scheduling which accompanies fluctuation of crude oil properties fed into a distillation apparatus such as an atmospheric distillation apparatus.SOLUTION: An apparatus for calculating properties of crude oil fractions comprises: crude oil distillation characteristic data storage means which stores crude oil distillation characteristic data (W) which represents a relationship between fractionation temperatures when fractionating the crude oil into a plurality of fractions and distillation amounts of the fractions and prescribed components; fraction distillation characteristic data storage means which stores fraction distillation characteristic data (R), which are data determined for each fractionation temperature and represent a relationship between fractionation temperatures of at least light-side fractions and heavy-side fractions and distillation amounts; cut temperature determination means for determining a fractionating temperature as a cut temperature (KP) when fractionating the crude oil into a plurality of fractions, the fractionating temperature corresponding to a fraction distillation characteristic data (R) representing a specific distillation amount of a prescribed fraction at a specific distillation temperature; and fraction property calculation means for calculating a property and a distillation amount of each fraction when the crude oil having the crude oil distillation characteristic data (W) is fractionated at the cut temperatures.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
