METHOD FOR MEASURING MOISTURE CONTENT RATIO AND MOISTURE CONTENT PERCENTAGE OF SOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the moisture content ratio and moisture content percentage of soil to be measured easily and accurately in the scene of soil sampling.;SOLUTION: A soil sample is put into a sucrose aqueous solution of a set concentration prepared by using water procured in the scene of sampling and, after stirring, the sugar content of the solution obtained after filtering is measured with a saccharimeter or a refractometer. On the other hand, the sugar content of the water procured in the scene of sampling used for preparing the sucrose aqueous solution is measured with a saccharimeter or a refractometer, the measured sugar content of the filtered solution is corrected with the measured sugar content of the locally procured water being used as blank, and the moisture content ratio and moisture content percentage of soil are figured out on the basis of the corrected sugar content.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
