ENERGY-SAVING TYPE PLANT CULTIVATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high energy-saving plant cultivation system in which proximity illumination and local air conditioning are combined.SOLUTION: A plant cultivation system which consists of a cultivation chamber includes: a cultivation shelf having a cultivation bed on which plants are planted; an air conditioner which performs local air conditioning to the plants; and an illumination device having illumination means whose irradiation position is changeable and which irradiates the plants with light from above. Conditioned air is supplied upward from below the cultivation shelf and an ascending air current is generated by providing an air inlet above the shelf, so that a cultivation environment (wind speed, temperature) of each plant body becomes more uniform, and waste heat of proximity illumination is effectively exhausted by utilizing the ascending current of the conditioned air.
