PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly reliably enable the evaluation of corrosion properties in a simple process.SOLUTION: A reinforcement bar corrosion property evaluating method comprises: heating a surface of an asphalt mixture paved on a surface of reinforced concrete with electromagnetic induction heat for a predetermined time; measuring the temperature of the surface of the asphalt mixture; obtaining temperature information of the surface of the asphalt mixture changing with time; calculating a corrosion rate of a reinforcement bar in concrete on the basis of a difference between the surface temperature of the asphalt mixture in a state where the reinforcement bar does not corrode and the surface temperature of the asphalt mixture of the reinforced concrete whose reinforcement bar corrosion properties need to be evaluated; and performing reinforcement bar corrosion property evaluation, based on the obtained calculation value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
