PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency agile type radar beacon device capable of preventing the frequency of a response signal from deviating from the frequency of the reception signal due to a fluctuation of the temperature and the power supply voltage, a secular change and a load fluctuation of a circuit, making the initial response possible when starting reception of a radar signal and further without using a reference signal oscillator corresponding to an expensive wireless signal frequency and without requiring the operation stop for calibrating an analogue circuit.SOLUTION: A frequency agile type radar beacon device includes: an A/D converter for outputting a digital reception signal by converting an analogue reception signal into a digital value; a digital frequency discriminator for obtaining a reception frequency formed from the digital reception signal; a frequency setting part for setting a reception frequency as the response frequency forming the reception signal; and a direct digital synthesizer (DDS) for generating the response signal formed of the response frequency. The frequency setting part sets the reception frequency outputted by the digital frequency discriminator to the direct digital synthesizer as the response frequency of the response signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
