PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for securing a key in an unsecured computer environment.SOLUTION: A method for securing a key in an unsecured computer environment has a step for encrypting a secrete item by each unique key of a set including a plurality of unique keys, i.e., security keys unique to encryption location, upon receiving an encryption request for requesting protection of the secrete item, from the computer device of a client, and producing an encrypted item. The unique key is previously subjected to initial concealment processing, and prevents to be known in unprotected form on the computer resources of the computer environment during encryption, and each unique key of a set including a plurality of unique keys is one and only for each encryption location, and the encryption location is the region of a memory arranged in the individual computer resource.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
