PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that powdery coal ash crushed in a vibration rod mill has a needle-like shape and causes the wear of piping in a pneumatic conveyor although granular coal ash having a grain size of around 30 mm is produced by using a crusher such as a roll breaker as a primary crushing portion and powdery coal ash having a powder size of about 300 μm is produced by using a vibration rod mill type crusher as a secondary crushing portion in a conventional coal ash conveyance system.SOLUTION: In a coal ash conveyance system comprising: a dry conveyance device conveying lump coal ash discharged from the furnace bottom of a coal burning boiler; a crushing device crushing the lump coal ash conveyed by the dry conveyance device; and a pneumatic conveyor pneumatically conveying powdery coal ash crushed by the crushing device, the crushing device includes a ball mill.
