PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the memory capacity to be used for calculation, and to perform packet routing at high speed while using data by which a packet transfer route can be retrieved at high speed and packets can be classified for each transfer route.;SOLUTION: A two-branch determination tree is constructed from a bit stream of a header space for identifying a route of a packet, a multi-branch determination tree is constructed from the two-branch determination tree, and the route of a received packet is set to a route allocated to a termination node that is reached by retrieving the multi-branch determination tree.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
