PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly distinguish indoor equipment that is an operation object.SOLUTION: A remote controller 2 is applied to an air conditioner 1 including indoor equipment 3 and outdoor equipment 4, and controls an operational state of the indoor equipment 3 by transmitting a control command to the indoor equipment 3. The remote controller 2 includes: a display part 21 to display the operational state of the indoor equipment 3 that is taken as a control object; and a control part 22 causing the display part 21 to display a position of the indoor equipment 3 taken as the control object, by using installation position information indicating an installation position of the indoor equipment 3 taken as the control object.
