A method for tracking and reporting energy performance for business

The method and computer system report and track resource performance for business customers. The computer system receives usage data relating to resources associated with the utility entity customer, including usage information per hour for resources metered at the customer's office. The computer system receives operational data associated with the establishment, including operating time information that indicates when the establishment is open to the customer. The computer system receives (i) information regarding resource usage at the establishment during the time open to the customer, and (ii) resource usage at the establishment during the time closed to the customer. The resource performance data of the office is determined using the received usage data and the received operation data. The computer system issues a report of this information to the resource customer.
