PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an estimation method and an estimation system for simply estimating a cause of emission of a radioactive ray.;SOLUTION: The estimation system for the cause of the radiation exposure is provided with: a storage part 15 that stores a determination criteria 17 that determines a relation between an amount of spatial radiation and density of suspended particulate matters, and each of multiple types of the causes of the radiation exposure; a measurement part 11 that measures the amount of spatial radiation and the density of the suspended particulate matters; and an estimation part 12 that derives the cause of the radiation exposure at a place of the measurement of the amount of the spatial radiation and the density of the suspended particulate matters by the measurement part 11 from each measurement value of the amount of the spatial radiation and the density of the suspended particulate matters on the basis of the determination criteria 17.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
