PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable-and-fruit nondestructive saccharic acid meter capable of measuring a saccharic level and acidity in a handy manner, and highly precisely measuring the saccharic level and acidity using a light source whose light volume is unstable, such as the sun.;SOLUTION: A vegetable-and-fruit nondestructive saccharic acid meter includes light collection means that collects incident light coming through a nozzle, light volume adjustment means that adjusts the light volume of the incident light, light volume measurement means that receives the incident light whose light volume has been adjusted by the light volume adjustment means and measures the light volume, and arithmetic means that calculates at least either the saccharic level or acidity of a vegetable or fruit on the basis of the light volume of the incident light measured by the light volume measurement means. The arithmetic means is configured to calculate at least either the saccharic level or acidity of a vegetable or fruit on the basis of a direct light volume obtained at the time of measuring the incident light entering the nozzle directly from a light source, and a transmission light volume of the vegetable or fruit obtained at the time of measuring the incident light entering the nozzle from the light source with the vegetable or fruit in contact with the nozzle.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
