PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of realizing a stable combustion field under effective promotion of combustion in a scramjet engine.;SOLUTION: A fuel injection wall 20 is installed at a lower surface of a combustion chamber 10 (a combustion test segment 10a). The fuel injection wall 20 is provided with a cavity 22 acting as a flame holder. Above the fuel injection wall 20 is installed a shock wave generating device 40 while being spaced apart by a prescribed distance. The shock wave generating device 40 is provided with a shock wave generating plate 42 having a deflection angle of 6 degrees. The shock wave generating plate 42 is formed to have a wedge-shaped section. The shock wave (an oblique shock wave) generated at an upstream side extremity end part of the shock wave generating plate 42 is adjusted to direct in a right-slant downward direction as shown in a figure to reach a region A1 of an upper plane 21 at a downstream side from the cavity 22 of the fuel injection wall 20.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
