PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road bed drainage material and a manufacturing method therefor that enhance drainage and ventilation performance for effectively preventing mud-pumping, configured to be light-weight to enable enhancement of transportation convenience and workability, in addition to being manufactured at a low cost.;SOLUTION: A drainage material is of a hollow string-like form to be embedded in a road bed, and includes a water permeable string-like body part 11 made of a fiber material, a water collecting part 12 installed outside the body part 11 and made of a plurality of fiber materials that extends outward from the body part 11, and a passageway shape retaining part 13 installed inside the body part 11 and made of a plurality of fiber materials that extends inward from the body part 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
