PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric power generation unit which is capable of improving a heat exchange performance at a high temperature side and can be installed without occupying a wide space, a thermoelectric power generation device employing the same, a mounting structure therefor, an exhaust duct with the mounting structure, and an engine.SOLUTION: In a thermoelectric power generation unit 1, a cooling part 3 is provided at a low temperature side of a thermoelectric conversion element 2, and a heating part 4 for supplying vapor of a heat medium is provided at the high temperature side, and power is generated by a temperature difference between the low temperature side and the high temperature side. The heating part 4 is formed from: a tabular space member 4a which is provided along a surface of the thermoelectric conversion element 2 at the high temperature side and forms a tabular space 40a insides; and a tubular member 4b which forms a tubular space 40b to communicate with the tabular space 40a by connecting both opening ends to separated positions of the tabular space member 4a and is heated by a high temperature fluid from the outside. The tabular space 40a and the tubular space 40b form a circulation path 40 in which the heat medium filling the spaces 40a and 40b is circulated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
