PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow cylindrical structure reinforcing method which wholly and properly presses a cylindrical reinforcing part which is arranged in an inside hollow part of a hollow cylindrical structure to an inside wall face which surrounds the inside hollow part of the hollow cylindrical structure by a liquid hardener and compressed air, and properly reinforces the hollow cylindrical structure by using the reinforcing part and the liquid hardener.SOLUTION: A hollow cylindrical structure 1 comprises: a working hole 9 which is formed at a sidewall of the hollow cylindrical structure; a reinforcing part 3 which is inserted into an inside hollow part of the hollow cylindrical structure 1 from the working hole 9, and surrounds an inside balloon part 2; a liquid hardener 4 which is injected into a side of a bottom of the inside hollow part of the inside balloon part 2 from the working hole 9; and compressed air 5 which is injected to a side of a head of the sealed inside hollow part of the inside balloon part 2 from the working hole 9. A side of the bottom of the reinforcing part 3 is pressed against an inside wall face which surrounds the inside hollow part of the hollow cylindrical structure 1 by the inside balloon part 2 which is expanded by the liquid hardener 4, and a side of a head of the reinforcing part 3 is pressed against the inside wall face which surrounds the inside hollow part of the hollow cylindrical structure 1 by the inside balloon part 2 which is expanded by the compressed air 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
