PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for estimating various characteristic values of a cow body simply.SOLUTION: A system for diagnosing a cow body comprises: three-dimensional scan devices (10, 22) for imaging a cow (200) which is a diagnosis object, and creating three-dimensional image data on a body surface of a hip of the cow; a geodesic length measurement part (23) for measuring geodesic length between optional two points on the body surface of the hip of the cow; and a cow body characteristic value estimation part (24) for, on the basis of a generalized linear regression model in which, weight is at least one objective variable, the geodesic length between left and right hip bones is at least one explanatory variable, and cow individual information is a stationary effect, estimating at least the weight of the cow which is the diagnosis object, as the cow body characteristic value, from at least the geodesic length between left and right hip bones, out of the geodesic lengths measured by the geodesic length measurement part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
