Method to determine the risk of clopidogrel resistance

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of evaluating the risk of non-responsiveness to treatment by clopidogrel about a patient planned to be subjected to medical treatment by a thrombocyte inhibitor.;SOLUTION: The method for determining the risk of clopidogrel resistance of a patient includes steps for: a) measuring thrombocyte activity in a sample obtained from the patient when the patient has not taken clopidogrel yet; and b) comparing the measured thrombocyte activity with a statistically determined determination limit. The method shows an increase in the risk of clopidogrel resistance about the patient by a thrombocyte function increasing while exceeding the determination limit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
