PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing apparatus and a processing method of a casting item capable of reducing processing time without giving any damage to a tool.;SOLUTION: The processing apparatus includes a processing control device 1 that calculates processing conditions of a casting item to control a processing machine 2 according to the processing conditions. The processing control device 1 includes: a plan data storage 3 storing casting condition data and a shape data of a casting mold; a cooling speed calculation section 4 that calculates cooling state during casting from the casting condition data; a deformation amount calculation section 5 that calculates a deformation amount of the casting item after the casting from the cooling state during the casting; a draft angle calculation section 6 that calculates a draft angle amount from the shape data; a burr generation position calculation section 7 that calculates a position where a burr is generated; a cutting position calculation section 8 that calculates a cutting position; a drawing shape displacement position calculation section 10 that calculates a shape data representing a displacement of a shape of the casting item from a shape in a drawing due to processing at positions in a result of a cooling metal position calculation section; a casting item shape prediction section 11 that calculates a final shape data of a casting item from the result of the calculation sections; and a processing condition determination section 12 that determines an optimum processing conditions.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
