PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reversely carry work while preventing the dropping or hit marks of shaft-shaped work.;SOLUTION: A work reversely carrying device 1 includes: a tower frame 3 vertically provided on a pedestal portion 2; a rotary member 4 which is attached to the tower frame so as to rotate about a rotary axis O extending in a direction orthogonal to the tower frame 3; and at least two work holders 51 and 52 which have opening portions 51g and 52g on one end sides 51a and 52a, is fixed to the rotary member while inclining at 45° to the rotary axis on the other end sides 51b and 52b, is oppositely disposed at an interval in a vertical direction Z, and holds a shaft-shaped work 103.
