PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing program that can appropriately provide an annotation in accordance with a range visible by a user.;SOLUTION: The present information providing program includes: road information selection means that selects two line segment elements having an absolute value of a tilt difference falling within a predetermined threshold value M_max and a distance falling within a predetermined range (D_min to D_max) as terminal location road information in the vicinity of a terminal location acquired by a positioning part in accumulated map data; prospect area determination means that determines a [prospect area] including two line segment elements on the basis of a location range of the selected two line segment elements; annotation search means that searches for an annotation associated with a location within the determined [prospect area] and retrieves the annotation; and display control means that causes the annotation retrieved by the annotation search means to be displayed in association with a location of a real space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
