Diagnosis of three different subtypes of disease severity index and primary sclerosing cholangitis for assessment of chronic liver disease

Non-invasive liver function test results are used to provide a Disease Severity Index (DSI) to assess chronic liver disease in patients. DSI was derived from noninvasive liver function test results based on liver blood flow. DSI is used in methods for predicting clinical outcome, predicting response to antiviral treatment, and assessing progression of chronic liver disease. Non-invasive methods for diagnosing three different categories of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) patients are provided. This method can be used to diagnose PSC patients as slow, moderate, and fast progressive patients.
