PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a topic associated with the content of a message to be exchanged without making a user conscious thereabout when message exchange is performed between user terminals in a message exchange system.SOLUTION: An associated topic display control device for displaying a topic associated with a message at a user terminal includes: topic information storage means for storing topic information including a predetermined keyword for each topic; search means for extracting a keyword from a message to be received from a user terminal, and for searching the topic information by using the keyword, and for, when the keyword matching the keyword is detected from the topic information, adding a predetermined value to scores about the topic corresponding to the detected keyword; and display control means for allowing the user terminal to display the topic whose scores exceed a predetermined threshold as an associated topic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
