A biometric authentication platform system is provided with: a management unit for managing original record correspondence information corresponding to an original record of biometric information used when biometric authentication of a user is performed by a plurality of services; an authentication unit for executing authentication processing on the basis of biometric information for a user received from the plurality of services and the original record correspondence information managed by the management unit; and an authentication permission unit for controlling whether the execution of authentication processing by the authentication unit is permitted with respect to each of the plurality of services.
