PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel wind direction and velocity measurement method capable of reducing the time needed for preparations of on-site measurement of tunnel wind directions and velocities on a cross-section orthogonal to the tunnel passage direction, which have conventionally needed a long time to assemble a rolling tower where an anemometer and an anemoscope are attached.;SOLUTION: The width of a sheet 1 placed on a road surface 3 in a tunnel is determined as a labeled division point 5 which is labeled and divided in a prescribed manner and an extendable pole 13 is extended so as to divide a road width direction of a cross-section orthogonal to a tunnel passage direction in a tunnel into a plurality of predetermined sections. A freely extendable pole 13 is vertically extendable up to predetermined heights of 1.5 m, 3 m, and 4.5 m from the road surface 3, which are labeled as labeled points 19, 20, and 21 on the pole 13 in its contracted state. Anemometers and anemoscopes 8, 9, and 10 are attached to the labeled points 19, 20 and 21. Each extended pole 13 housed in an expandable tripod is placed at each labeled division point 5 to measure tunnel wind directions and velocities.
