PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both speakers who stay on different floors or in rooms at different locations with a communication environment in the same way as they stay in the same space.SOLUTION: In an inter-long distance point bidirectional communication system in which in-space control parts (10a, 10b) for controlling image imaging parts (1a, 1b), image display parts (2a, 2b), voice collection parts (3a, 3b) and voice output parts (4a, 4b) perform intercommunication, each of the in-space control parts (10a, 10b) is configured to, when determining the occurrence of an echo state where a part of voice signals output by a voice output part in its own space is included in voice signals collected by a voice collection part in its own space, control the voice output part to resolve the echo state by narrowing down the directivity or decreasing the voice pressure of the voice signal to be output by the voice output part in its own space.
