PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection mechanism of a green tire which can sensitively detect a state in which a green tire holding shoe enters a bead part of the green tire, and hardly causes interference with other equipment.;SOLUTION: A detection mechanism 1 comprises a base 3 attached to a green tire holding shoe 2, a first link 4, and a second link 5. The base 3 and the first link 4 are connected through a first pivotally supporting part 6. The first link 4 is configured to be rotatable in a predetermined range with the first pivotally supporting part 6 as a central axis. Also, the first link 4 and the second link 5 are connected through a second pivotally supporting part 8.
