PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light irradiator capable of achieving a uniform light outgoing pattern by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: The light irradiator comprises: a light source 10; a light guide part 120 including a first opening end 120c, a second opening end 120d, and a cylindrical inside surface 120e located between the first opening end 120c and the second opening end 120d and having a central axis; and a connection part 140 located at the second opening end 120d of the light guide part 120 for connecting the light source 10 to the light guide part 120. The inside surface 120b of the light guide part 120 has an N-polygonal (N is an integer equal to or more than 5) shape in a cross section perpendicular to the central axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
