PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating an explosive fracture of concrete capable of easily estimating the same in a short period at a low cost.;SOLUTION: A method for estimating an explosive fracture of concrete 1 comprises: a step S1 to obtain a maximum value of thermal stress on a superficial layer of a reinforced concrete member by conducting a three-dimensional thermal stress analysis with a full scale model thereof; a step S2 to obtain the maximum values of the thermal stress on the superficial layer of a reduced test piece of the reinforced concrete member by conducting the three-dimensional thermal stress analysis with a reduced model of the reinforced concrete member; a step S3 to select one of the maximum values of the thermal stress, obtained in the step S2, almost equal to the maximum value of the thermal stress obtained in the step S1 and to identify an analysis condition of the reduced test piece with which the selected maximum value of the thermal stress is obtained; and steps S4 to S7 to actually produce the reduced test piece, conduct a heating experiment under the analysis condition identified in the step S3 as an experimental condition and estimate that the reinforced concrete member is expected to have an explosive fracture similar to that obtained through the heating experiment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
