PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect user's intention and to allow no switching to an undesirable direction of display.;SOLUTION: When a tilt angle is small, a user is using an information terminal 10 substantially in a horizontal state and a display region 11 is likely to change with slight change in hand holding posture. Although the user intends to operate with a long side up, a short side frequently comes to the upper side owing to a slight tilt. In this case, it is troublesome to change the display direction immediately, so it is recommended that the user is given an extension of time for putting the information terminal 10 back to the previous tilt rather than the immediate switching of the display direction. This tends to be more remarkable as the tilt angle is smaller, so a remaining time is set long when the tilt angle is small.
