A gas turbine engine blade includes an airfoil (24) (20), said airfoil (24) includes a pressure-side external surface (34), the suction side external surface (36), wherein and a first rib (130) extending between the pressure side external surface (34) and the suction-side outer surface (36). The airfoil (24) is twisted proximal end portion of the airfoil from (30) to the tip of the airfoil (32). The first rib is twisted from the proximal end of the first rib, to the tip portion of the first rib. The pressure-side external surface, the suction-side external surface and the first rib has been cast as a monolith.
