A user desiring a good or a service by means of an on-demand bus (10) uses an information terminal (30) to send scheduling information to a service management center (20), said scheduling information including a product description of the desired good or service and a desired time at which the user desires to receive the good or the service. Using the product description and the desired time, the center (20) determines a first service schedule in which the user is transported to a location where the good or the service is provided or a second service schedule in which the good or the service is transported to a location where the user is to receive the good or the service. The center (20) determines the first service schedule or the second service schedule so that the desired time desired by the user is met.
