A method and apparatus for reducing electromagnetic resistance in an electric machine may comprise a laminated stator having wire slots disposed around an inner periphery separated into regions separated by a pole core support structure. The slot includes an induction winding. A series of wound transverse magnetic pole cores may be disposed around the inner periphery of the stator, and a first end of the transverse magnetic pole core extends and is disposed in the slot of the region. . The support structure supports the transverse magnetic pole iron core by forming a circular opening concentric with the inner peripheral portion of the stator. The rotor is inserted into the circular opening of the transverse magnetic core support structure, and is supported by the support means at the end of the transverse magnetic core of the stator.
