PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage method of contaminant for quickly treating a large amount of waste containing relatively low-level radioactive cesium and a container for storing the contaminant for reducing radioactive cesium as much as possible, which leaks from the container disposed in an environment where the container is likely to be brought into contact with underground water in the case of storing the container in a long period.;SOLUTION: A storage method is characterized in that fibrous sepiolite or zeolite and one or more absorbent selected from among zeolite, a ferrocyanic compound and a manganese compound are adhered closely to each other, and spread out at least on the bottom part of a concrete storage container to be arranged to cover the bottom surface, and that cesium contaminant is stored in the concrete storage container.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
