PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing measurement using a smart antenna in a radio (wireless) communication system including a plurality of STAs.SOLUTION: A method for selecting a beam comprises: receiving a first measurement packet using a first reception beam, the first measurement packet comprising a first antenna identification and a first sequence number; performing measurement associated with the first measurement packet; changing the first reception beam to a second reception beam after the reception of the first measurement packet and before the reception of a second measurement packet; receiving the second measurement packet using the second reception beam, the second measurement packet comprising the first antenna identification and a second sequence number; performing measurement associated with the second measurement packet; and selecting a transmission beam on the basis of the measurement.
