PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle behavior simulation device capable of accurately simulating behaviors of particles even when a charge amount decreases by degradation of particles, and a method for analyzing behaviors of particles.;SOLUTION: Forces in a normal direction and a tangential direction acting on a toner base particle are calculated by a contact force calculator 17 on the basis of contact quantity information between particles. An electrostatic attraction force is calculated through a calculation of Coulomb force, and thereby, forces acting on a toner particle, a particle velocity of the toner particle and a rotation speed of the toner particle are determined. This procedure is repeated on the whole particles. Then a shielding rate of the toner base particle by an external additive is calculated from an impulse functioning between particles by an electrostatic force calculator 18. A charge amount of the toner base particle is calculated from the shielding rate, and a work function of the toner particle is calculated. A charge transfer amount is calculated from the difference in the work function between the toner particle and a carrier particle, and a charge amount of the toner particle is determined from the charge transfer amount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
