PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the power converter capacity by lowering the peak value of a current flowing to each leg, with a simple configuration when compared with prior art.SOLUTION: Current of a power converter is controlled so that desired power conversion is carried out between an AC system and a DC system, by performing feedback control so that a first predetermined value is obtained by performing coordinate transformation of an AC current flowing to an AC terminal with the phase of the system voltage, and performing feedback control so that a second predetermined value is obtained by performing coordinate transformation of a circulating current flowing through a first arm and a second arm with the phase of a second frequency different from the phase of the system voltage.
