Energy-saving route selection method and apparatus

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bands to be utilized in a bottleneck link on the Steiner tree and to reduce routes with a number of hops between edge routers.;SOLUTION: A bypass route which does not utilize a link on the Steiner tree is created between two routers on the Steiner tree, and traffic of partial routes on the Steiner tree is caused to make a detour to the bypass route. Further, when there is a boundary router which makes a relay with another network domain in a network domain to which the Steiner tree and the bypass route are applied, a new bypass route which does not utilize a link on the Steiner tree and the bypass route is created between the boundary router and another router which is positioned on the bypass route, and the new bypass route is used to perform communication between an edge router and the boundary router.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
