PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an allergen deactivating agent having little decline of performance caused by fluctuation of pH, capable of performing not only adsorption removal of allergen but also deactivation removal of allergen itself.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to [1] an allergen deactivating agent containing titanium oxide having photocatalyst function and water and/or lower alcohol, and [2] preferably the allergen deactivating agent described in [1] in which the average particle size of primary particles of the titanium oxide is 1-200 nm.
