Import and analysis of external data using virtual reality welding system

A real-time virtual reality welding system includes a programmable processor-based subsystem, a spatial tracking device operatively connected to the programmable processor-based subsystem, and at least one pseudo-weld that the spatial tracking device can spatially track A tool and at least one display device operatively connected to the programmable processor-based subsystem. The system can simulate a weld paddle with real-time molten metal fluidity and heat dissipation characteristics in virtual reality space.
