PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To considerably reduce handling time, etc. for detecting an erroneously registered account number and also perform correction work in a short period of time.SOLUTION: In a signet information managing system, maintenance information and registration account information of signet information that are associated by date information are acquired from a signet information database 5 by an operator's operation using a client terminal 6, and the client terminal 6 checks the maintenance information against the registration account information to extract maintenance information having a mismatched account number that is maintenance information in which the account number is erroneously registered. Then, in the signet information managing system, a list of correction object accounts is created consisting of the extracted maintenance information and its corresponding registration account information, and the account numbers of the account information in the signet information registered in the signet information database 5 are corrected based on the list of correction object accounts and then re-registered.
