PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively discharge sludge accumulated on a bottom surface of a digestion tank including an agitation acceleration member.;SOLUTION: A digestion tank 100 includes: a digestion tank body 1 that permits loading of sludge; a mixer 2 to generate a swirl flow f1 against the sludge in the digestion tank body 1; and an agitation acceleration member 41 to generate a turbulent flow by bringing the swirl flow f1 into collision. The agitation acceleration member 41 is a tubular member having openings 41a formed at locations opposite the swirl flow f1 and is disposed at a bottom of the digestion tank body 1. The agitation acceleration member 41 is configured to suck the sludge through the openings 41a and discharge the sludge to the outside of the digestion tank body 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT
