PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively discharge sludge accumulated on a bottom surface of a digestion tank including an agitation acceleration member.;SOLUTION: A digestion tank 100 includes: a digestion tank body 1 that permits loading of sludge; a mixer 2 to generate a swirl flow f1 against the sludge in the digestion tank body 1; and an agitation acceleration member 41 to generate a turbulent flow by bringing the swirl flow f1 into collision. The agitation acceleration member 41 is a tubular member having openings 41a formed at locations opposite the swirl flow f1 and is disposed at a bottom of the digestion tank body 1.
