PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lap fillet arc welded joint having excellent fatigue characteristic, in which one or both fatigue fracture which is generated from the toe of weld at the welding starting point and fatigue fracture which is generated from the root at the welding finished point are suppressed when load acts on the lap fillet arc welded joint of steel plates, and to provide a method of manufacturing the lap fillet arc welded joint.;SOLUTION: There is provided the lap fillet arc welded joint having excellent fatigue characteristic, in which a part of two steel plates are lapped and a fillet arc weld bead is formed by welding a corner of an upper steel plate and a lower steel plate. The lap fillet arc welded joint having excellent fatigue characteristic is characterized in that: an upper plate additional bead on the side of welding finished point where the upper steel plate and the lower steel plate are spot-welded is provided on the side of the upper steel plate which is the welding finished point of a fillet arc weld bead; and a lower plate additional bead on the side of the welding starting point which is partly superimposed with the toe of weld of the welding starting point of the fillet arc weld bead is provided on the lower steel plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
